conquerors of women

Dear Ladies,

When I look at all the #metoos, I think back on my life and my re­la­tion­ships with men.

Men that I thought were tougher, smarter, cool­er than I. Con­querors of women.

I think about how I was raised to re­spect women, about be­ing a vir­gin un­til I was 21, al­ways feel­ing like I just was­n’t enough of a man to ‘get’ a woman.

I have since had my won­der­ful share of lovers and they were just that to me, women I loved and still do.

50 years lat­er I re­al­ize the men were jerks, pigs, and bul­lies. You ladies made me a gen­tle­man, and the tough, smart, cool fa­ther and man­ly-man that I am proud of to­day.
