Dear Sacramento,
In case you haven’t noticed we’re having another huge wave of incredible artists leaving the city.
Can we PLEASE figure out how to make it sustainable to create here? The politicos love using the arts as a talking point and example of what makes our city great but creatives can’t afford to live in the city we bring life to.
Two of my closest poets and one of my favorite show producers in the last couple months. AND I talked to three other BIG creative forces out here last night who are either currently moving or looking to.
Damn, I miss my friends.
Philadelphia. The bay. LA. New Orleans. Cincinnati. London. All looking pretttttttttttty good right now …
And ima take everyone with me when I leave.
