unreal world

While all the world finds distractions
I sit here trying to find a way

to understand how the world has changed.

Is it really an excuse anymore

to say

well, we’re dying anyway?

Is it really an excuse anymore

to say

we’ve tried but nothing has changed so I give up?

Are we really that accepting of horrible fates and we cannot change things for a positive impact?

What happened
                    to the world we expected
                                        that was further ahead

                                                            than we are today?

Where is the art?

I don’t just mean the art in just forms of drawing, painting, photography, et al. What about our art in the form of science? Where are our thinkers, our philosophers? Where are the doctors in it for helping others and not stuck to the profits of a corporation?

Where are the visionaries?

Have we all been silenced, put down, and thrown into line with the robots speaking lines of bullshit?

How have we ended up where we are?

Why         don’t         you         feel

like         you         are         in         jail

as         they         shove

freedom”

down         your         throat

only         to         reach         up

and

rip         out         your         brain?

We live in an unreal world too afraid to find anything that forces us to look at the reality of life while these tyrants grab all the money while telling you that you need this life that you love.

We are dying yes, but why do we have to die this way?
