What is your favorite brand making you feel today?
These days, brands are paying attention to feelings and it’s become a trend.
And while companies like Nike continue to use needs, motivation and encouragement as their strategy, more fashion and beauty oriented organizations have come up with something different … artistic atmosphere.
Now, amongst the largest boutiques, shopping appears not just as an act of consumerism, but similar to a visit to a peculiar art gallery.
Such approach makes not only the process of buying more exciting and curious, but suggests to the consumer – the participant – to appear more intellectual, unique, and (possibly also) an exquisite supporter of culture.
These things become ‘accessible’ as part of the mass market.
And many retailers I’ve seen will actually rent pieces from contemporary painters and sculptors, giving more exposure and attracting possible clients to the creators.
Of course, each of the thousands of ZARA locations cannot afford original art for their shops, not that their audience would buy it anyway.
But youthful, interior spaces that are fun to hang out in is where things are.
In the relatively small town of Platja d’Aro, MANGO Teen has created this vibe full of energy, with dressing rooms making one feel like a part of a modeling photoshoot.
Of course one feels prettier in their clothes in such surroundings!
Personally, I think the products were too boring to try on, tho the appeal of this surprise photo-booth made me go in anyway.
I think it is fascinating how art directors, designers and visual merchandizers are capable of coming up with brilliant ideas that affect us, even if we’re not fully thinking about it.
Just experiencing it and having fun.
I am studying ideas like this as a part of graphic design at my university – it helps me to see such tendencies, which sometimes helps me avoid falling into them.
Be aware of Capitalism, but remember to enjoy your time❣️
What do you think of this?
Any shops stand out to you right now?
