“P0rnhub prides itself on being the cheery, winking face of naughty, the website that buys a billboard in Times Square and provides snow plows to clear Boston streets. It donates to organizations fighting for racial equality and offers steamy content free to get people through Covid-19 shutdowns … Yet there’s another side of the company: Its site is infested with rape videos. A search for ‘girls under18’ (no space) or ‘14yo’ leads in each case to more than 100,000 videos. Most aren’t of children being assaulted, but too many are.”

I just wanna make a post to put my thoughts on potential stress/trouble in the sex worker industry.
So as many of you may know, P0rnhub is taking a big hit right now with credit card companies no longer allowing payments to be processed through their cards.
Many sex workers are freaked over this – and I know many use the platform for income. The upset and fear IS valid – tho, in my opinion, I feel the site is finally getting what’s coming to them.
P0rnhub has a history of allowing videos of assaults and videos with minors to remain up on their site, while also being uploaded and reuploaded. Because of this, there have been many victims of abuse and trauma that have had to re-experience and relive their trauma at the hands of this site’s neglect.
So now they’re doing a very long overdue purge of content from their site, which, of course, includes a substantial amount of illegally posted work. This also means saved copies of videos from independent sex workers that have been posted by other users without the content creators knowledge. Any work uploaded from non-models and verified users is little by little being deleted, it appears.
I think this is a good thing.
P0rnhub knew there were abuse video uploads, but only took real preventative action when it started to directly affect the site’s income.
This pisses me off – of course – and shows where the morality of these companies lies.
Who knows how many people had to suffer while one of the largest p0rn companies basically spit on victims and did nothing to sincerely uphold their own alleged policies.
Fuck you P0rnhub.
