So i am dream­ing last nite…
In my dream i am sup­pose to be at a New Edi­tion con­cert…
Next thing you know…
I am lis­ten­ing to six twen­ty some­thing year olds…
Singing New Edi­tion songs…
I walk out of con­cert ir­ri­tat­ed…
Mum­bling to my­self…
They aint New edi­tion…
They New­er edi­tion…
Then i ral­ly to play some foot­ball…
Un­til i re­al­ize i have one team mate…
Against 11…
and my team­mate cant catch shit…
Af­ter a few plays i call game in dis­gust.…
Then i end up walk­ing past par­ents church…
Mom is in there with a big cheezy grin…
Ask­ing if i would wan­na join in ser­vice…
Noooo i blurt­ed out…
try­ing to calm the fuck down…
Moms comes out…
Says she miss­es me…
Mean­while she is car­ry­ing a hang­er full of wrin­kled church clothes…
In case i change my mind.…
Pops rolls up be­hind her in the park­ing lot…
With a hang­er of wrin­kled but­ton up shirt…
At which time i wake my­self up.…
and here we are…
Dont know what any of it means…
I know New Edi­tion was one of faves…
I know play­ing foot­ball was one of my fa­vorite things to play…
Hel­la dis­ap­point­ment car­ried in that dream…
Hel­la frus­tra­tion…
I have no clue…
Maybe its time to check in with them…
To see if they good…
But probav­ly not.
