Be­sides our nü store soft open­ing to-day, we have tracks. Of musik, via our week­ly Mon­day morn­ing playlists.

WAT? Yeah.

I al­ways want­ed to be a dj, so un­like wat real djs ac­tu­al­ly do, I’ve been pro­gram­ming some genre-bend­ing mix­tapes every week. It’s an up­grade of the old, clunky play­ers I had on my old blog and (gads) The My­Space. Annnd, best part is I get to ex­plore a lot of mu­sic I usu­al­ly would­n’t have lis­tened to. A hand­ful of flom­mists have been rec­om­mend­ing tracks too. And to­day, it’s the 200th week I’ve been do­ing this.

For FLom­mis­chen Nº200, it’s all there. All so far. 5,786 tracks of stream­ing sounnnnnnd; I went with Spo­ti­fy cause they have a lot of rar­i­ties to sort thru.

And our musik blog sort of grew up around these week­ly playlists.
