“You kno, if we have an opening, I’m not going to actually show up. I’m diabetic – and totally pisssy about people near me not wearing masks.”
—me, couple weeks back
Like all things FLOMM, this sort of happened: We have an exhibition up RIGHT NOW, TO-DAY at Axis Gallery in Sacramento.
Because DADA. Because MAGAZINES. Because it’s #internationalzinemonth

F
RICT
iON
is a physical showing of selected spreads from FlomZINEm Nº1 –
along with some aggressive ‘political and societal’ works by Jacob Lewis

WITH
Murray Bowles: Sixteen Frames in the main gallery, curated by Luke Turner and Justin Marsh

Additionally, Bill Mead has visuals and audio (it broken rn) from our short-lived 423ZERø interactive site on a screen, in motion with all the typey things.
THAT’S THREE shows you’ll prolly never see!
THO —
by Appointment IS an option, depending on several factors. Head to the AXIS website for info on all that.
Our opening was going to be TONIGHT – Saturday 11 July 2020 – but shit, wat are the ’rona numbers today?
SO we hung the show anyway – with the help and support of Shehreen Husain and Omar Arason – we were all hosed down beforehand and wearing masks:
Annnd … here’s some snaps.

Thanks again to all our contributors and wall measurers/nail pounders and the nü flommists we are always meeting everywhere and all of the time always ever.
F RICT iON closes 30 August 2020
update 1 august 2020
Additional fotos from the show + video of the now-dormant 423ZERØ website are posted on our tumblr art blog.
