Make­up. It start­ed with make­up and is grow­ing into some­thing else.

Sin­is­ter Crea­ture Con is the brain child of Tim Me­u­nier, the guy be­hind the Sacra­men­to Hor­ror Film Fes­ti­val. And with the pop­u­lar­i­ty of Face­Off, in­ter­est in film­mak­ing, make­up and spfx, Tim no­ticed that the con scene – lo­cal­ly – did­n’t have an event ded­i­cat­ed to the un­seen he­roes that bring the gore to life.

Sin­is­ter Crea­ture Con is all about the spe­cial ef­fects and prac­ti­cal ef­fects of hor­ror movies. And guests. And ven­dors. And MOR.

And NEXT WEEK­END is hap­pen­ing again – this time in Stock­ton. Cause things are hap­pen­ing in Stock­ton. Like FLOMM 4.23.

The group also has a shad­ow cast troupe called Am­ber Sweets who is in­volved lo­cal­ly in Rocky Hor­ror and oth­er cult clas­sics. And there will be some Rocky Hor­ror AND Face­Off peo­ple in at­ten­dance.
