Skipped town to catch my breath.
Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Taos … this might be the last you hear of me, guys. I may Georgia O’Keefe/Nikolai Fechin myself out here. The colours and shapes and clean, healthy clouds are too good.
But it’s now back to the grind – right away to face a professional rejection.
But 10+ years as a pro artist and I can say I get over blocks and bumps in the road much quicker than the early days, with hardly the attachment.
Instead of feeling knocked down, it feels like rolling over and hopping up.
If you’re in the grind with the right mindset, it becomes habit that blocks, restrictions, no’s, and changes in plans are all opportunities to think sideways and come up with something even better.
