let white peo­ple help them­selves to his­to­ry books, nov­els, bi­ogra­phies, films, mu­sic, art, opin­ions, and oth­er forms of ex­pres­sion and work made by peo­ple out­side their bub­bles.

let us cor­rect text­books, the prison in­dus­tri­al com­plex, chron­ic dis­ease di­vid­ed along racial lines, food ac­cess dis­par­i­ty, and de­con­struct the myth of the white body as stan­dard.

 

Please
let us heal the dam­age that’s been done so this gen­er­a­tion of our nation’s ba­bies feels nat­ur­al and in­alien­able per­mis­sion to ex­press them­selves with­out fear.

 

Please
let this mo­ment lead our na­tion into a new era of de­seg­re­ga­tion.

 

Please
get Trump the fuck out of here be­cause he’s nei­ther the real prob­lem nor part of the so­lu­tion. The prob­lem is 400+ years old.

let America’s fu­ture be guid­ed by the ge­nius, wis­dom, strength, cre­ativ­i­ty, in­no­va­tion, and love that is born, bred, and re­sides here in our di­verse peo­ple.
