So it was my last day at the hospital…
I was saying my goodbyes…
To the top two doctors in hospital…
They were broken up visibilly…
I got to say goodbye to one…
The other one was on the phone…
The door closed…
He comes out a second later…
Dressed in black robe…
I assumed it was costume they wear when doing last rites…
We walk to elevator…
I leave…
say my good byes…
Letting the doctors handle their business…
I walk to car grab my suit…
And an big ass bible…
I walk accross the street…
To funeral home…
For a funeral for someone in my family…
Cant tell who…
Family is all there…
Minding my own business…
I can tell it is over…
My Aunt Jane is at the pulpit…
Still visibly upset…
Crying blaming the deceased person…
I assume we all have our way processing…
I see my parents are there…
I start to leave…
My mother pops off…
Says something out loud…
“They were all hillbillies”…
I point to her and tell her to sushh it…
Loud enough the whole church service knows…
We are trying to mourn the dead…
I walk out the church…
I see a park bench across the street…
Planning on smoking a bowl…
Wait for service to end…
As I am crossing the street…
I hear Joe Biden at the pulpit…
He says…
“How many of you think I am catholic”…
I mutter to myself…
“Oh here we go again”…
“I grew up lamb of god”…
Pulls out phone to google what denomination Lamb of God is…
Assuming it’s some Jewish tradition…
Then I wake up…
I assume to google lamb of god…
Turns out it is a band.
Weirdest dream I just had…
Had to get it down…
Thanks for playing.
