the fighting

Hal­loween in the news every day, these days. 

But it’s a trick for fools to be so sub­sumed that you be­come a ves­sel for the thing you fight, fear, or de­spise, and I’m see­ing a lot of that. 

It’s like some­one ask­ing you “trick or treat?” and you re­al­ize you don’t have to choose ei­ther and you don’t want can­dy in the first place. 

I’m for rev­o­lu­tion over “re­sis­tance” –
get­ting out of mass pat­terns and forg­ing your own plan of ac­tion for goodness. 

Just cuz you’re fight­ing doesn’t make you a warrior.
