I thought about ton­ing down this post a bit but fuck it. 

These peo­ple think pol­i­tics is just one big long ex­cit­ing ral­ly fea­tur­ing a per­for­mance by Run the Jew­els. NOW they find out they pol­i­tics is messy, com­plex and nu­anced and they are freak­ing the fuck out. I have zero em­pa­thy for know-noth­ing mid­dle class white fake rev­o­lu­tion­ar­ies who want to fuck up AC­TU­AL progress be­cause they didn’t have the votes to get 100% of their way.

We come from a gen­er­a­tion that had to read mul­ti­ple sources ON PA­PER (which had a nat­ur­al bar­ri­er to en­try, be­ing ex­pen­sive and la­bo­ri­ous) and tri­an­gu­late our way to an opin­ion. NOW every id­iot with a gut feel­ing can Google their way to a link that sup­ports any dumb fuck­ing thing they want to believe.

Grow up. There is much more at stake here than your feel­ings about the pu­ri­ty of your vote.
