What mat­ters I think are your tools.

The tools with which you dis­cern right and wrong and evolve and change.

Any dumb 22 year old can be su­per­fi­cial­ly ‘Woke’ in the pres­ence of ad­e­quate peer pres­sure to think and be­lieve the right things, but if it’s an un­con­sid­ered in­ter­est in eq­ui­ty than it isn’t worth very much, as it like­ly will bend to the whims of in­evitable change in the cul­tur­al wa­ter line.

Thus some­one that has stepped on the line of Prob­lem­at­ic but un­der­stands where they went wrong and works to rewire those be­hav­iors is in­fi­nite­ly more valu­able than the kid that is al­ways right sim­ply be­cause they know which re­spons­es get the right re­wards.

Also I think this is how we end up with those bros that use fem­i­nism to get laid but are com­plete­ly use­less out­side of a nar­row band of the most ba­sic fem­i­nist ideas.
