people suck

Perhaps, in retrospect,
there would be little motivation even for malevolent extraterrestrials to attack the Earth;
perhaps, after a preliminary survey,
they might decide it is more expedient just to be patient for a little while and wait for us to self-destruct.’

Carl Sagan

Faith in humanity and goodness in people, you’re losing points again for me. Humans are disappointing and primitive. We could accomplish so much if only we’d stop destroying each other and ourselves.

It’s kind of disappointing for a species to just “jerk off” its potential. It’s frustrating. I see it in people everyday. In their eyes and lines on their faces, just sadness or some form of negativity. People just unable to fill this constant void of “what can I do with my short existence.” If only in an idealistic world, we’d just started actually thinking. Real thinking. Just start to care and respect ourselves and this planet. Do away with all the petty nonsense.

The world is a whole different place when seen with a higher level of consciousness – observing the bullshit as it happens. It’s like being trapped in a cage and just watching everything crumble and age. Seeing everything that is and even knowing how to prevent it, but for some reason, you can’t. People just do really stupid things. Always.

Humanity will just implode on itself one day until we just no longer exist – at this point we’ve already lost our ability to respect and care for one another.

The ultimate fate of humans is extinction either by our fault or nature.
