flommcast season 1 finale: something totally diffrennt

This first sea­son of FLoMM­CAST in­clud­ed every­thing from

freeform con­ver­sa­tion to talks about pysch drugs, ed­u­ca­tion­al fuck­ups, why Flo­rence Welch (not Hen­der­son) should be seen in per­son,

mas­tur­ba­tion, com­mu­ni­ty, breasts, stu­pid things hu­mans do, how artists re­al­ly work, how to deal with cre­ative con­flict, some be­hind the scenes cre­ative con­flict (re­solved with bet­ter­ing com­mu­ni­ca­tion and apolo­gies, and just NOT GIV­ING UP),

vagi­nas, penisues, and all the weird­ness hu­mans have around them, where the hip­pies took us and where we are now, how art is tak­ing us to task world­wide and so very much MOR.

Tech­ni­cal is­sues came and went, as did record­ing trou­bles, a few break­downs here and there, wat hap­pens when artists and teach­ers get fired, a new sound en­gi­neer (and a remixed and re­mas­tered episode 5 was qui­et­ly up­dat­ed when no one was look­ing),

can­cel­la­tions and re­place­ments and in­tre­pid host Al­ley Schef­f­ki mic’d up and sit­ting on the floor of her clos­et hop­ing we could hear every­thing just a lit­tle bit bet­ter.

This week,
Al­ley took FLoMM­CAST else­where – and is end­ing its first sea­son with some­thing to­tal­ly diffren­nt, a per­for­mance mix from about TWO DOZEN flom­mists world­wide:
