Ok, let the shock set­tle in. I’ve dis­cussed our po­lit­i­cal re­al­i­ty be­fore in my pre­vi­ous ar­ti­cles, No World Mind­set, and George Wash­ing­ton: Jedi Mas­ter (not to men­tion it’s de­tailed in the flomm man­i­festo; yeah the FLOMM game app vil­lains would ac­tu­al­ly love to cen­sor our world) but this last de­ci­sion against Net Neu­tral­i­ty throws me.

We are fac­ing the on­set of a tech­no­log­i­cal oli­garchy. That’s not hy­per­bole – this is akin to the Alexan­dria Li­brary be­ing set aflame. Knowl­edge will be lost to the mass­es for short term gain.

A lot of Der­Tung and Flomm me­dia dis­cuss the hege­mo­ny and how we were sold a nar­ra­tive. His­to­ry is lie, time is an in­ven­tion, and mon­ey is dark sor­cery. In truth, the Em­pire was nev­er ours. This year wasn’t a glitch in the sys­tem … it is the sys­tem. Try not to be sur­prised by an econ­o­my that uses you or a gov­ern­ment that fears you.

Sil­ver lin­ing: Dis­rup­tion re­veals the fa­cade of our ple­beian ex­is­tence. What hap­pens af­ter the cred­its are over at the movies?
