are strange

I had a dream last night that I found a se­cret TV chan­nel that was show­ing S3E1 of Stranger Things.

Since dreams don’t make sense at all, af­ter I be­gan to watch it, soon I was in the episode, but only as an ob­serv­er – the kids couldn’t see me.

They were rid­ing their bikes down the street and Elle was on the back of Mike’s bike with him, and he was mad that the kids at school weren’t ac­cept­ing her and his par­ents didn’t like him dat­ing “that strange girl.”

The most no­table thing about it though was that in my dream I could hear the song Only in Dreams by Weez­er play­ing over the whole thing, which I think is prob­a­bly the weird­est ex­am­ple of some­thing be­ing meta that I’ve ever ex­pe­ri­enced.

And yes, the scene of all the kids rid­ing their bikes slow­ly down the street to the open­ing of that song was pret­ty damn cool.
