the Uni­ver­si­ty of Ne­bras­ka chancellor’s re­sponse to a white na­tion­al­ist student’s video post­ed on­line this past Mon­day, I’m gonna hard­line this one here: Be­ing a Nazi is an act of vi­o­lence in it­self. No free pass­es. “Nev­er Again” means “Nev­er Again.”

And
this is what the First Amend­ment ac­tu­al­ly says:
“Con­gress shall make no law re­spect­ing an es­tab­lish­ment of re­li­gion, or pro­hibit­ing the free ex­er­cise there­of; or abridg­ing the free­dom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the peo­ple peace­ably to as­sem­ble, and to pe­ti­tion the Gov­ern­ment for a re­dress of griev­ances.”

This is not what the First Amend­ment says:
“Peo­ple can say what­ev­er they want with­out con­se­quence.”
Hate speech is not pro­tect­ed by the First Amend­ment.

It also doesn’t say any­where
“Uni­ver­si­ties shall not ex­pel …”

In fact: Neb. Rev. Stat. §79–267(1), (2008) states
(1) “Use of vi­o­lence, force, co­er­cion, threat, in­tim­i­da­tion, or sim­i­lar con­duct in a man­ner that con­sti­tutes a sub­stan­tial in­ter­fer­ence with school pur­pos­es;”

Did you see this fucker’s video? I’m pret­ty sure it fits here.

This Nazi has al­ready com­mit­ted acts of vi­o­lence and he is more than vo­cal about his in­tent to use vi­o­lence again. He is in vi­o­la­tion of the stu­dent code of con­duct and is an ac­tive threat to the peo­ple on cam­pus.

Also, here’s Daniel Kleve at Char­lottesville clear­ly vi­o­lat­ing UNL’s stu­dent code of con­duct:

Peo­ple shouldn’t just leave UNL be­cause their lit­er­al safe­ty is threat­ened by this Nazi fuck or that they are now giv­ing their mon­ey to a White Su­prema­cist-en­abling ad­min­is­tra­tion that is re­fus­ing to do any­thing about it –

They should also leave be­cause the Chan­cel­lor (whose PhD is in an­i­mal hus­bandry BTW) does not un­der­stand the dif­fer­ence and is clear­ly not ed­u­cat­ed enough to run a uni­ver­si­ty.

If his id­io­cy is any in­di­ca­tion of the qual­i­ty of ed­u­ca­tion one would re­ceive there, the en­tire stu­dent body is bet­ter off at a dif­fer­ent school any­way – ex­cept the Nazi.

Fuck the UNL chan­cel­lor and fuck the rest of the ad­min­is­tra­tion for this bull­shit. I can’t be­lieve my tax mon­ey is go­ing to this.
